October 2007 Update

I will have to figure layout issues later.  Sorry the photos are not in proper order but I really don't have time to fix it right now:)

Hi Everyone,
Well, I am hoping that blogging my updates will make it easier for me to stay on top of them.  I guess time will tell.
Anyways, I last left off with October.   Well, we visited my Mom and Dad for Thanksgiving weekend.  It was a great weekend with tasty food, a visit to the beach, and some pictionary.  My brother and his wife were there with their two kids and my Grandma Squair was also there so it was a full house.   We also visited my Auntie Debbie's for a birthday celebration for my Grandma Earwaker and saw my cousin and her two kids.  So, Anika had a lot of visiting with cousins which was fun to see.

Ken's parents came down for a visit in the middle of the month which was great.  They brought a family friend, Joyce, with them.  Anika called her Joy-is which was pretty cute.  I kept thinking she was trying to say, Doris, which is Ken's Mom's name but it was Joyce.  Anytime Doris asked Anika what she was going to be for Halloween Anika would say Luongo.  I was a little worried because I had borrowed a costume from my friend, Naomi, who lives in Kamloops.  She had made a beautiful dinosaur costume that her little guy wore last year.  I was afraid she wasn't going to wear it because it wasn't Luongo.  So I bought a Luongo t-shirt as back-up but she was totally into the dinosaur costume on Halloween night so it all worked out.

I think October was hockey month in our house.  Anika really enjoyed taking shots on Ken and I with her little hockey stick.  I think she is actually pretty good at shooting the puck but I may be biased:)   Well, that pretty much sums up the month.  Enjoy the photos.
Love Jennifer (and Ken and Anika)
