Mid October Update

Hi Everyone,

We are settling into the fall season here.  Anika continues to love preschool.  There are only 8 children in her class (4 boys/4 girls) and teacher Pat is amazing.  Makenna has enjoyed some time there too.  The kids love to see her and they get excited if she tries to touch them or smiles at them.  It is so fun to see:)

Makenna continues to change so much!  She can now sit without having a pillow behind her and she now has 4 teeth! ( the two bottom middle teeth and her two upper eye teeth!? - no middle front ones yet.  She is going to have the right teeth for halloween) :)  Her hair is so thick now and is starting to get a bit longer.

Makenna has now learned to crawl, sort of...  She takes a couple crawling steps and then teeters onto her belly.   Then when we try to get her to do it again, she can't necessarily coordinate her limbs to recreate the crawling again.   So, I think it may be a couple days before she is an expert.

Makenna continues to smile lots and be a joy for everyone.  Anika continues to interact with her more everyday:)

We had Ken's parents from Quesnel and Aunt Trudy, Uncle Steve and cousin Maddie visit from the Island this past weekend.  We hadn't seen them for a long time and it was great to see them.  It is also always nice to have extra help with the girls and everything.  Ken and I also had an evening out which was fun.

Last weekend we enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at my brother Bill's house with my parents and Grandma Squair and Auntie Dorothy.  It was great to see everyone together.  My parents are going to Mexico for 5 months soon so that was the last big family get together before they go.

I guess that is the latest from our end.  We hope you are doing well.  Take Care,

Love Jennifer, Ken, Anika and Makenna:)

Enjoy the photos!

Well, Makenna's hair may have filled in but she still can show quite a mohawk if styled right:)

Anika loves the swings too:)

Makenna leans forward when she is hungry.  It is too funny.  She doesn't know that I will continue to give her food even is she is sitting in a more relaxed way.
