Yikes!! I didn't think I could be any later!! Really? A year??
I think it has something to do with Anika falling asleep later and then I am ready for bed shortly after so there never seems time to take a couple hours to update.
I am going to try, try, try to keep more up to date. Sorry to all that have been checking for updates!
I will add some more photos soon and add captions/summary of the year.

SEPTEMBER
Ken started September 2011 with a fishing trip to Alaska. He went with a friend, Mark, from work. They had a great time and caught lots of fish and saw lots of grizzlies.
Anika started grade 1! She is growing up fast. Why don't I have photos? I actually don't have any for all of September? I vaguely remember losing our camera. I know we got a new camera for Ken's Alaska trip. Perhaps I didn't really know how to use it and so have no photos for September :(
Makenna is in preschool again this year. She loves her teacher and loves preschool. She is meeting new friends but continues to gravitate to her best friend, Tessa. (photos from school website)

DISNEYLAND
In October we went to Disneyland! We had a great time! The girls' favourite part was meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the Princesses and Tinkerbell.

HALLOWEEN 2011
We had a great Halloween night. Anika couldn't find her Little Red Riding Hood cape when getting ready so she just made up her own fairy princess costume and was completely happy with it! Makenna found all the parts to her Little Red Riding Hood costume and enjoyed going around the BIG block this year with Anika.

FEBRUARY
COSTA RICA
Ken's work trip this year was to Costa Rica. We spent four days with his colleagues at a nice resort and then moved to a beautiful condo in Tamarindo for the remainder of the holiday. We had a great time :)

Anika's tooth finally came out! Of course she was trying on make-up before it came out
Makenna was admitted to the hospital for 6 days with a chest infection. It seems this happens every 2 years! Makenna gets very wheezy when she gets colds and seems very susceptible to chest infections. She requires hospitalization when her oxygen levels get too low. Poor thing!
